It actually smells like the regular rice. I don’t buy Jasmine rice anymore coz I get this instead. It’s also really good & much cheaper. **Q: So is it prewashed rice already?** A: It doesn’t say that on the package **Q: What kind of rice is this? So weird it doesn't say.** A: It is a extra long grain white rice grown in the US.A., packaged and marketed by Riviana Foods, Inc. for 93 yrs. I personally prefer this rice over any others.
