Is this easy to use? Im not tech savvy at all.** A: No, this is a USB-A thumb drive, the larger port on all computers. Many newer better android phones have USB-C (small, oval shaped). Most still have micro-USB (small, trapezoid). The easiest way to tell the difference is if you can flip your charging cable upside down and it still plugs in then it's C, otherwise it's probably micro-usb. I would google photos of the ports to verify. Anyway, there are several thumbdrives that have USB-A on one side and USB-C or micro-USB on the other side. You could also get an OTG adapter for this thumbdrive to plug it into your phone. I'm not sure what software would transfer your photos to the thumbdrive, but I'm sure there are 1000 different options. The built in photos app lets you select days or individual photos and 'copy to folder' on an external drive. Other software might automate the process by copying them all when you plug in the drive. Personally I would recommend Android's built in backup&sync. It will upload your photos when you're on wifi. I think it's on by default, so you should go to google's photo webpage (amazon won't allow link), and log in with the same account you use on your phone and see if all your pictures have already been uploaded. If not, it shouldn't be too difficult to find instructions for turning on backup&sync for photos. On mine there's a switch in the photos app when I look in the 'Camera' album.
