Used two coats on the shower grout and one coat on the bathroom floor grout. so far, so good. Easy to put on, I was semi neat in application (not so much on penny-tile on shower floor) with several 2" foam brushes. First coat really soaked it up. Followed instructions (let it soak for a couple minutes, and damp wipe off surrounding tiles. It left no residue. This was new tile/grout application, I suppose you would need to really clean grout first on an older floor. It was very easy to apply and did not leave any streaks or haze on my travertine, which I was worried about. I was able to use the shower about 6 hours later with no issues. You can clearly see the water beading and not soaking in at first. After almost a month of daily shower use, I do notice that in the areas that stay constantly wet the travertine is starting to absorb water again, especially on the shower floor. So it seems the sealer wears down faster in high moisture areas.
