Review: The best game on PSVR - In short, if you have a VR and looking for a great platform game than this does not disappoint. In more detail this game wasn’t on my radar before seeing the Mario 64 comparison and from that I thought that I’d purchase it but in no way did I think this comment would ever be correct. After completing this game to platinum trophy I can tell you that the comments regarding Mario 64 is that of the feeling you first had when playing Mario 64 and this game does just that. I could honestly mistake AstroBot for a Nintendo platform and this is the highest praise I could give a game like this. The VR works perfectly without any feelings of nausea, you are placed just behind the Bot you control and have full 3D vision of him while you move him around the level. Controls work and change depending on where he is, it will change from him going behind, above or below you but it will work well. What it won’t do is work the same if you look away from him but I get that. The level designs work well having you the player following the bot as he moves forward (you can’t travel backwards). There are 8 bots to find in each level and 1 chameleon which when found will unlock a challenge level. The game will have moments where you the player will get involved by bashing things with your head, dodging slime blasted at you by an enemy or just heading a football back at an enemy. The bot itself is cute, when you look at him he will give you a little wave, if you leave him he will put on a VR headset himself and when in water he can even stick to your screen. The level designs are fantastic, the underwater being my favourite, especially sections where your head is just above water where you can duck to move yourself underwater. You can see your controller if you look down and even see the button pushes and thumb stick movements. You sometimes will also gain abilities like a water gun, a hookshot and spinning blades which will help you along your journey, each taking advantage of the controllers touch pad. The challenge mode has fun small levels which will place you against the clock or taking certain amount of damage or gaining a high score. Most are easy enough but there are some that prove a real challenge. The boss battles are epic, each boss being gigantic however none provide as much of a challenge until the final boss. I did enjoy each boss battle however but the shark was defiantly my favourite. As you collect coins in the levels they can be spent buying items for your home pod which you can use to have a little sandpit area to navigate around. If you have a VR you really need this game. The world does well making you feel immersed and even though it’s pretty short I would love to see another of its kind.
Review: Tiny little robots - Cuteness overload - There are no words to explain how bloody cute this game is. The music will have your head bopping, little Astro will have you giggling your head off and smiling. Every time he runs past you he will look up and wave at you lol. His little cape is rediculously cute and his little sounds will remind you how tiny he is against such big worlds and monsters. It is a good idea to look all around you and behind you to find secrets. This is a full 360 game where Astro will be very far away from you at times and you might have to stand up to keep an eye on him. Sometimes he will be walking right over your head and you have to lean right back to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesnt fall off. When you finish a level all the robots you rescued join together to have a dance off its hilarious. This will be a game changer, literally, and will set the standard for VR. The VR games that came out 1st were just warming us up. Now the games are getting much sharper and clearer. I have no doubt that this will be a new series like Mario etc but far better. If you are not sure if you like platform games just read some of the reviews and that will clear it all up for you. This is the game everyone is blabbing on about now and there is a reason for it. Its the one game that will set the standard now for the next while. God knows what VR will be like when the ps5 comes out but all I know is VR games are getting really good. Another thing I know is that Astro will be melting hearts all over the place, he is a little cutie with his little waggly run and tiny cape flapping out the back of him. When he is scared he makes this noise that makes you want to pick him up and put him in your pocket.

## Features

- Look in every direction and lean around corners with 360 vision, judging each death-defying jump and experiencing a mind-blowing sense of scale. And listen out for clues to find your bots with immersive 3D audio.
- Captain ASTRO can't do all this without you, so become an extra character and help him out by activating switches, discovering new places and smashing up the environment. Watch out though, the enemy will be coming for you, too.
- Dastardly traps and mean enemies lie in wait in 20 levels across five planets - with even meaner bosses ready to block your path to victory. You can even unlock extra challenges by finding the hidden space chameleons. Yep, space chameleons.
- A water cannon, a slingshot… or even cool ninja stars
- your wireless controller can do pretty much anything. Chop through spider webs, annihilate enemies and create new paths and platforms for Captain ASTRO to investigate
