They replaced them with lightweight, silvery plastic ones. The new ones were less sturdy and would pop loose every now and then when the TP roll was given an assertive tug, and their slick surface would promote over dispensing of TP under similar circumstances. It started with 3 different plastic rollers that fit into the space but all had a nasty habit of springing out onto the floor when you least expected it. FINALLY found the perfect roller. After more than two weeks with no problems whatsoever I feel confident to write this review. I love my new wooden rollers! So well made, the wood is beautiful, the metal spring is excellent, and best of all, no flying toilet paper rollers.
