Review: Terrible quality control. Motherboard failure after seven months. - Seven months after delivery, I thought a hard drive failed. Talked to LG, who said, "Yes, sounds like a hardware failure and not a software problem. You should get that fixed." They would not even consider standing behind their product. Turns out, the motherboard slot was bad, not the hard drive. They still aren't interested in standing behind their product. I will never again purchase from LG. And now, the motherboard issue is causing a constant drain on the battery, so the percentage goes down about a percent per day despite being constantly plugged in. I have another month and a half until it's bricked, at this rate. My laptops always last five or six years, and are replaced when they are too slow and need an upgrade. This is unacceptable.

It's fast, and works great. More or less seamless transition from my old PC. It's superlight and superthin. I *love* it! My only complaint is that I can't uninstall McAfee, or even stop its continual processing using the control panel.
