Holes allow for some poking through, but not every hair. Elastic not too tight, is a little on the rough side in certain areas,( maybe attachment points or bunched areas?) and not too hot that face is pouring sweat because of it.Doesn’t like heat from pilot lights, steamers, ovens, broilers and burners. Will melt to hair and face, easily peels off. ( if heat source singes beards and toasts skin, this will not stand up to it either.
