The lid diameter is 6 3/8 inches. Why is that? I purchase these because reviews said they was fresh and it had an explanation date, but i don't see a date** A: The expiration date is on the front label of the barrel, below where it says "baked cheddar". The expiration date on my barrel is June 5, 2023.
