**Q: What's the lowest room temp the ice maker can be used in? i.e. a cold garage in the winter time okay?**
A: Dear customer , the surround temperature can affect the cooling capacity of this ice maker . In winter , we do not recommend to use in the garage .Thank you .

**Q: Anyone know why my 1200w inverter won’t power on the compressor? Can I add an external capacitor to make it run?**
A: Depends on what inverter and battery you use.. As it requires a 2000 watt inverter and at least 1 Lithium 12volt 100ah battery. That has a 100amp BMS on it... This is why people use 2x 100ah batteries. You get 200amp BMS when you parallel them. Where a single 200ah Battery still is limited to 100amp BMS..

**Q: Does it keep the ice or do I have to bag it and put it in the freezer?**
A: You will need to bag and freeze. This ice maker doesn't keep it cold enough to be used as freezer. Works great and makes about 6-9 cubes every 10-12 minutes. You will need to empty tray about every 45 minutes or unit will stop until emptied again.

**Q: My ice maker stuck on icefull when its empty.  How can I fix this issue?**
A: We’ve owned 3 of these ice-makers in succession over 5 years. They run constantly 24/7 for 1 to 2 years, then something goes wrong with the automation sequence of operation, and they stop. If your unit is new, return it. If it’s in the neighborhood of 2-3 yrs old, toss it, it isn’t worth fixing in my opinion. We’ve decided that a new unit every two years is still a good value. It is a useful appliance.

Started off not so great as I had received what I believe to be a defective unit. Sat on my counter for 3H after delivery unplugged waiting for everything to settle. Filled with water, plugged in and ran a first test cycle which did nothing. Lights turned on and corresponding cube size light turned on(white light -will be relevant later). Unit ran for 1H straight without producing any ice. I had followed the troubleshooting steps afterward(unplugged for an additional 2H, tried different power outlet, insured unit was flat, drained and used cold water straight from the fridge to fill(just below MAX Line) to no avail. I then reached out to Customer Support and was greeted by a very friendly and professional team member who again walked me through the troubleshooting steps(which I exactly had done on my own previously but repeated). Ended up coming to the conclusion that I had received a defective unit and a replacement was sent - Amazingly the replacement came the next day before I even rolled out of bed at 7:00am. Went through the setup steps again with the replacement unit, waited 2H for everything to settle before powering on. Filled with cold water, turned on and was greeted by a Green Light on both the ON Button and Ice Size. Aaaaand... PERFECT! Basket was full of ice within 15min. I tossed the first batch and made a second to avoid any chemical tastes. Second batch was great and made just as quickly. This unit is absolutely amazing, it makes ice in the time it advertises. However if you are going to be making ice and transporting to a freezer, you will need to break them up as they do come out a bit wet and will stick together when they are put into a freezer. But for the time it takes to make ice, you really don't need to be putting any in the freezer unless you're filling a large cooler(probably cheaper to buy a bag of ice from a store than run the electricity bill in that case).
