It was fine and then I emptied it, as usual, and the next time I came to use it, the hinge was broken and you cannot buy a replacement hinge. Also, because the bin is so narrow and deep, it creates a vacuum so that when you try to extract the rubbish, the bin liner is stuck and you have to force your hand down between the bin liner and the bin to release the vacuum before you can get the rubbish out.
