Zoom out and it's like looking through the bottom of a milk bottle. Hopeless, wouldn't even pay a fiver for them, so disappointing. In addition, the zoom lever is really awkwardly placed under one of the barrels (right), so you can't zoom them easily anyway. Add to the above, incredible fringing and a distorted image. My 26 year old 10x20 Praktica bins still beat these. Other reviewers are definitely happy with theirs, so there must be a quality control issue. They are a bit bigger than I expected but they fit into my pocket easily.
