### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars

With this NANO with Arduino IDE You must use the Old Bootloader

*by V***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2019*

The only reason I gave it 4 stars, there is no documentation that instructs you to use the select the Processor as the ATmega328P (old Processor). You must use this or the L led on the NANO will flash and you will not be able to upload to it. A little bit of a headache if you're not aware

2 of 3 died quick deaths

*by G***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2019*

Ordered these (acknowledging you get what you pay for) for some miscellaneous projects. Used a Vin of 7 volts to power them on a project board (from a good PS with no known voltage spike tendencies). First one blew the on-board voltage regulator right away and funneled 7 volts to the 5v output and about took out some peripherals. The second one ran for a bit but finally succumbed to the same flaw as the first (actually puffed some smoke this time) but the main chip got very hot (?). The third is still hanging in there and running fine. I suggest looking elsewhere.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars

Proper uploader for use with Arduino IDE

*by M***I on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2019*

I use the Arduino IDE (v. 1.8.1) for these boards. To get the compiled sketch to upload correctly, I selected the "Arduino Nano" board, and had to select "ATmega328P (Old Uploader)" for the processor. The processor selection of "ATmega328P" was the default for the IDE, and would not work correctly.Other than that, so far so good.
