Possibly the best analogy that I could make for these things is that I would say they are the male version of what a Sports Bra is for women. They keep everything where it needs to be. No smashing, or feeling of being uncomfortable due to normal compression pants. Also, pouch size does matter. I am about average endowment, and I have ordered one of each pouch size to find out which fits best. A = Too small, though it does offer some room. B = Perfect size for the shorts C = Perfect size for the compression pants D = Too big, though they still keep everything where it needs to be I have tried to order some of the B pouch for the compression pants, and for whatever reason, they just don't stay in place like the shorts do, so I have upgraded to the C pouch. Final note is, I have also purchased a pack of shorts with the "red" shorts, but they look pink in person. Color does not bother me though as they still function and feel the same. Never worn anything that glides on and then keeps you from chafing all day AND has a custom pouch. Absolutely incredible. You'll get what you pay for, for sure. They're also decently lightweight so they pack in a suitcase easily. The fly is innovative and incredibly useful. I do wish that they would offer a variety sizing pack. I originally bought a B pouch and was surprised how little support it seemed to give. Going down seemed like it would provide more support because it would be tighter, right? But an A pouch with my dimensions didn't make sense at all. I ended up going up to the C, counterintuitively and I absolutely love their underwear now.
