The mint color complements the macaroon and cupcake patterns on the light pink top. It is not white as expected but still wonderful. The stitching is also clean; the fabric feels durable.The pen case fits many pens and highlighters (see attached photo: I don't normally carry this many utensils but filled it to show the pen case's capacity). It even fits the height of my apple pencil which I worried it wouldn't fit. It stands up well on its own, even if you don't pull the top pencil case layer down.I will update in 6 months of daily usage to share how well it holds up. Great first impression.EDIT------after 2 weeks of use:The inside pocket tore after mild use. I used to keep my eraser in that pocket but it became detached from the pencase, revealing inside material. It's no biggie cause the pen case still works as it should. It is just a little unsightly.
