The quality of the material is fantastic. It's a very string and durable backpack that I'm sure will last us quite awhile. My teen daughter uses it to go to & from her dance classes. She packs a lot of items in it, and some are pretty heavy (water bottle, ankle weights, dance shoes, hair brush, deodorant, etc). It has no trouble at all handling all of the weight.
