Be warned it doesn’t make hot coffee. Mine only hit 158°F while most people prefer 170°F. I had to send mine back. **Q: Hi, can you use ground coffee(other brands) with this machine? Does it need to be only pods?Thanks** A: Yes, I bought foil tops here on Amazon and use those on capsules I used and cleaned the old foil off the top and the coffee out. You just add your own coffee and place the new foil on top and you're good to go. There are also these refillable aluminum capsules on Amazon that have screw-on lids that you put your own coffee in. They have them for both the Vertuo and the Original, so be sure you get the right ones. **Q: How tall is the front of the machine when the top is opened for inserting a new pod? (I'm trying to determine if I can put it under a low shelf)** A: It’s about 18” y’all with the top opened. Anyone else get the orange light?** A: Orange light means it wants to be cleaned. Also I always catch the used pod so the bin does not fill up.
