I ordered this product about three months ago and when it arrived i put on my shelf. Stupidly, i did not check to see if it worked the day it arrived. Fast forward to today, i set it up to start ripping VHS tapes to DVD and it would not play and when I tried to eject the tape, it ate the tape. I hate to take it apart to save my tape. So then I tried another tape and again, it ate the tape and would not play, fast forward or rewind. I tried to return it but since it has been over 90 days I have found out I cannot return it. I am not bothered by the 90 or 60 day return period they offer but rather that I spent 100 dollars and it doesn't work. So, lesson learned today.
