The first one wore out after a year of daily use. The straps became thin and ragged and eventually tore apart. One might think a year is a short amount of time and it should last longer, but it was relatively cheap and I use it every single day, so I feel I got my money's worth!! This has 2 wonderful open pickets that are large enough for calendar, note pads, keys, my name badge, a small hairbrush, etc. The zipper pocket is great for my wallet and valuables. Smaller inner pockets for lipsticks and Tylenol travel tube and a pen. There is even a safe slip pocket for my phone for easy access. There is an inner and outer zipper pocket perfect for things like nail clippers, file, bandaids, and a little sewing kit. The straos are the perfect length to sling over your shoulder and go. This purse has three sections of which two outside sections close with a firm magnet and the center section closes with a zipper. Inside each compartment are additional open pockets, and the center compartment also has a zippered pocket. The outside of the purse has a zippered pocket as well. You can never have enough compartments! There are 2 shoulder straps that are the right length and non-adjustable. The seams are neatly sewn throughout the entire purse. There is no cardboard inside the purse and the pattern continues inside the purse. The zippers work very well and do not snag. I would get another purse, especially since there are so many patterns to select, and I highly recommend.
