I was constantly losing lemons and limes because I only need a little juice every so often for cooking or cocktails. There would often be lemon or lime halves wrapped in plastic and slowly going bad in my refrigerator. Now, I can get a few lemons and limes, squeeze the juice out and pour them into these molds. Once frozen, I empty them into a little ziplock bag and keep them in the freezer til I need them. Each little wedge is a half a teaspoon of juice, so any cooking calculations are easy. This worked out great when my neighbor unexpectedly gave me a bag of lemons from her tree because she had too many. I actually used regular ice trays for all that juice, for cooking bigger things or lemonade, in addition to using these little wedges for smaller needs. They go in the dishwasher just fine, and are nicely made. There's even a little wedge design in the mold so your ice wedges have a nice touch to them. The only thing I don't use is the juicer that is included. I have a stainless steel citrus squeezer that is heavier and gets more juice out with less effort.
