## Description

BanFire meets the most common requirements looked for by US Fire Marshals, such as NFPA 701 and Life Code 101, for drapes, curtains and other hanging fabrics and decorations. Approved for use in California. It is also effective on paper and cardboard. BanFire is simple to apply. Just spray it on till wet, using any common household sprayer, garden sprayer or even a commercial airless sprayer. Repeat. Thicker fabrics may require spraying both sides. BanFire is completely odorless, so it may be applied while there are other people present.

A: Supposed to be fine for clothing. Not good for plastic or nylon.

**Q: I’m considering using this on a canvass tent. Will rain just wash it off?**
A: The label says that if the treated material will be exposed to weather/ outside elements, then you should apply a sealer topcoat.

**Q: Is Bonfire corrosive?  Aluminum or steel?**
A: It is considered non-corrosive, but you wouldn't want to spray it directly onto metal if you can avoid it, since it is a salt.
