My technique is to drink about a half a packet before I leave for the day, drink a big bottle of regular water while we are doing our briefing, refill that, then during preflight I will drink from a cooled blender bottle with the other half of my packet. I will use up my other water bottle during the rest of the flight. I've felt great every day and have not had any symptoms of dehydration despite sweating for about five hours straight every day.
