And what’s more they even have a thin layer of metatarsal protection under length of tongue that protects top of foot. What’s strange is the material does not irritate your foot or make it uncomfortable even when you tie the laces down tight for a snug fit. It honestly blows my mind how comfortable these are. If you need some waterproof safety toe work boots, get these. Bought these sight unseen and without trying on somewhere first, which isn't a good idea with boots. These fit as expected, roughly, as I wear a 10 in other shoes but run small for boots. These are comfortable but don't breath very well, probably due to the waterproofing, which has been stellar so far. The only few gripes I have is the "non-slip" tread is not very "non-slip" on smooth surfaces like tile floor, and they are very tight around the ankles making them hard to put on/take off. Maybe this will lead to them lasting longer?
