It's a part that's under strain, it's where the screw joins part of the case together, and it's held up for a long time now with this glue. Plastics are hard to glue and usually repel everything I've tried - even general purpose glues that say plastics don't often work, so using a proper plastic glue is needed I think. It was about as easy to use as any other glue, and I left it to dry overnight to be sure, but might have been alright sooner. The broken part is hidden so looks didn't matter and I made no effort to make a tidy join.
