It has monthly spreads with big squares for notes, a pocket in the back for things I will need to have on hand later, an elastic band to keep it closed while in transit, and extra space in back for lists and such. All this, yet because there is no spiral binding or weekly pages, it is very light weight and slim, fitting in my bag easily. ### ⭐⭐ Background is too dark, hard to read notes. *by K***F on Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2018* I had the 2018 planner and it was awesome, so I ordered the 2019... The layout is the same and while that's great the thing that is not is the pattern printed in the "background" of the months. Sure, its pretty... but its too dark... way too busy and much too colorful... forget making notes in pencil :( if I write something down in pencil you can hardly read it... lately I'm noticing I'm having to write in a thick black pen and then high light everything so that it sticks out. I might be finding another planner.
