Review: The 120mm included fans are a bit noisy, but serviceable. Also of you are looking for backplane SAS cables, I used these: https://www.desertcart.com/dp/B013G4FL0A?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details and they worked perfectly. Yes, the 1.3ft cables are plenty long if you're using an ATX motherboard.
Review: if your board is ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WiFi II motherboard you will not be able to access the ports along the bottom edge of the motherboard . I will modify it so i can get power to the pcie slots. when I get done modifications it will no longer fit into a rack. I took a look at my norco case and noticed that everything is shifted to the right almost a whole half inch. presumably they've left space for air to the power supply? there would have been just enough room to connect to make bottom connectors if royyjay had done the same as norco did by shifting everything half an inch. the fan wall makes the backplane side connections challenging and renders 1 sata port unusable. and the 1 above it i used a right angled sata plug. the case is a knock off of a norco case. the metal on the bottom of the trays have never been a problem on my norco case nor do i expect any with this case. if the bottom of the tray touch the pcb, you are probably doing it wrong . the back planes block air flow unlike the norco chassis which are mounted horizontally so air better flows through the case. if your hands are delicate or you have big mitts, you'll want to wear gloves. I didn't and bear the scars. the fan guards are not sanded and will be like rubbing against a kitchen grater. the space to route the cables is tight. if you remove the fans from the fan wall it is easier, but not by much. i was tempted to remove the fan wall all together like my two norco builds. i will come back and edit if it doesn't work out the trays are the same and interchangeable . there are no fancy vents they cannot be closed blocking individual drives like older norcos. the build quality seems fine to me . until I solve the issues with my board and case modification what the performance will be. i may post an update if anything else comes up. you cannot beat the price without spending hundreds or thousands more.

The case is about what you expect when you cheap out and try to avoid paying for what a quality case would cost which is about twice as much. With the Supermicro CSE-846 out of stock everywhere or two times as expensive as it was , there are limited options The Good - Fits 24 drives without issue, all drive slots worked out of the box as did all leds - Case fan grills were nice, as were ability to slot fans in fan wall in without screws encased in grills. - Enough room to fit cables into backplane without removing fanwall if fans and cages are removed, even with big hands that don't fit into tight spaces. - Decent Airflow - Artic P12 Fans (bought separately) are able to keep 7200rpm enterprise drives under 50C (just barely) with server 2/3s full. Drives are louder than fans The Bad - no standoffs included (Yes I searched the package thoroughly, they were not there), and they are of non standard size so not easily substituted. I was lucky in I had some extras from a Rosewill build that fit the holes, but they were too short for the pci-e cards to line up and had to be install without their brackets (with the bracket they did not fully slot) - screws were overly tightened. Result was that when removing the fan wall during install, completely stripped a screw head, and had to drill it out. Several others were similar but avoided the same fate. - fan wall bracket backplane turned PWM fans into molex, and had to be bypassed for PWM support. - no manual, no specifications on size screws and standoffs. Be Aware - did not test noise of stock fans after other reviews, just went ahead and bought Artic P12 Maxs. Overall - As a builder who had plenty of spare parts ahead of time meant lack of standoffs was not a dealbreaker, and was willing to deal with the downsides to save money and was worth it for me. - For most people the cost of 24x HHDs dwarfs the cost of a case that can hold them, and should probably pony up what it costs for something like the silverstone 24 bay hotswap or 45 drives HL15.
