The software means that you need to run an old version of steam VR and you have to use the HTC role changer on the tracker. The role changer software will permanently disable your Valve Index if its plugged in when you change the tracker role. The installer will only let you put the old version of Steam VR on the C: drive and if your Steam installation isnt there the old VR theater wont find your isntallation. Your fine if it works staright out of the box but if it doesnt you wont hear from Beswin as they dont provide customerr support and you wont be able to return it as they wont respond.
