## Description

The SJE Signal Master SPDT control switch can be wired to work in either normally open or normally closed applications. It is not sensitive to rotation. When wired as Normally Open (high level)The control switch turns on (closes) when the switch tips slightly above horizontal signaling a high-level, and turns off (opens) when the switch drops slightly below horizontal. When wired as Normally Closed (low level)The control switch turns on (closes) when the switch tips slightly below horizontal signaling a low level, and turns off (opens) when the switch tips slightly above horizontal.

The description clearly stated: "can be wired to work in either normally open or normally closed applications."  This is not true.  I called the manufacture SJE Rhombus and they confirmed that it's false.

I have changed old broken switch  with this one, it works fine. The old one stop working completely and I searched the youtube channel before making a call to the local service company. The video tells me usually the issue could be this floating switch does’t work and the pump still work. So I manually plugged the pump’s power plug into the wall outlet several times a day to wait for it to come. Following the instructions of installation, it’s not to difficult to install it by a handy man. At least you don’t need to change the whole pump. The design of separating the pump and the floating switch is good idea.
