However, the old one only lasted ten months.Get the cheapest that you can, expending more money will not guarantee you better quality. All of these soap dispensers look the same, and regardless of the brand; they are manufactured by the same factory.Let me explain you the issue with the soap dispensers, the sensors, and electronic circuits tend to corrode with time, the effect of the humidity and the detergent vapors will damage the electronics boards, and that is the reason why they do not last.However, I need the soap dispenser, and I find them useful. So I needed to find a solution.I open the old one that was no longer operational, and I examined all internal components and where the corrosion has taken place.What I did with this new one, is that after I open the box, I proceed to test it with just plain water, after I confirmed that it was operational, I continued to take it apart.I coated all electronic boards with clear nail polish paint, making them resistant to the humidity and corrosion, I also coated the cable welding sat the motor, the battery terminal, and the sensors weldings. It is easy to set up, and we like the feature that the volume is adjustable. One feature we wish that the product had is that instead of needing conventional batteries, the dispenser could be recharged. Absolutely hate it when soap dispensers have half broken sensors. Also dispenses our a reasonable amount, not too much not not too less.
