It jammed up pretty bad so I took a chance on this replacement. Other than a tiny amount of filing one of the mounting holes, it all fit perfectly. All of the cables just plugged into the same ones that were there except for the power to the heat unit, that was a simple solder job and some heat shrink. About a 2 hour job to switch it all out. Now I can use replaceable shafts if it gets jammed. ### ⭐ Not for Makerbot! *by K***F on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2019* Don’t be fooled by the description. I bought this thinking I could drop in to a maker or replicator 2 which is not the case. Every aspect of this unit does not work for a makerbot. The heater is 12V vs 24V, it has a 100K thermistor vs type K thermocouple and dimensionally there is no way to mount it. I think the steppermotor will work. I decided to roll the dice on an affordable replacement and this one works.
