It was a life saver for us when we were travelling with a picky eating toddler. ### ⭐⭐⭐ poor packaging *by V***N on December 24, 2018* I was disappointed with the size (smaller than I thought) - It is rather cute and ideal for one person. The steamer part made of plastic (cheap looking) and there is no note in the literature that came with it if it is safe for cooking. Does anyone know? The steel inner lining is rather nice - I have tried boiling water and eggs as well and it did well tho not as fast as the proctosilex hot pot that I bought a few years back and is also bigger. I just wish that the steam basket (actually not a basket just a flat plastic round piece that has indentations for eggs (4)) but I am afraid to use it because it looks cheap and flimsy (it looks like it would melt when exposed to heat.) . It came in a box that had no cushioning - It was just wrapped tightly in one layer of thin plastic. I am surprised it came intact. I am used to receiving appliances in a protectective styrofoam. This did not have anything to protect it from banging on the sides of the box. There was air inflated plastic loosely around the outer box but not inside the box where the pot was. I cannot believe how cheap the manufacturer is.
