I wouldn't say there were copious amounts of morels but it was enough to make it work. **Q: Can I smoke these ?** A: Once reconstituted, I don't see why not. **Q: Do these still have spores? Any life left to propagate** A: No. You have to purchase those separately. **Q: This company sells morels in both 1 & 2 oz. jars. The larger jar costs $20.40/ oz. while the smaller one costs $14.99/ oz. Is there a reason why?** A: Because one jar has 2oz. of mushrooms in it and the other one has 1oz. of mushrooms in it.
