Review: ASICS GT 1000 TRAINER - I have been using my Asics GT 1000 trainers in the gym now for the last 2 weeks and have found them to be really comfortable and so good for running in. My old trainers gave me hot spots on the sole of one foot but these are just brilliant and want to make you run further in them because they are so soft underfoot to wear. I have been a fan of Asics for about 8 years now and will not buy anything else when it comes to sport trainers and they always support your feet and don't end up smelling awful after a couple of months. I would recommend these to any serious gym trainer and road runner as a perfect medium ranger trainer. Bought them in half a size bigger than my normal size as recommended and they fit a treat. Have been wearing them in my training runs for my first marathon and have to say they are really comfortable and haven't had any problems with blisters or sore feet, so much so that I have purchased another pair to break in for the day. The shoes were competitively priced and arrived in about three working days. The characteristics of the shoe is keeping with the GEL 1000, similar in weight, maybe slightly wider, again supportive with excellent cushioning. If you have used the GEL 1000 series in the past I have no hesitation is using this product.
