While I use these for backup purposes (FiOS and my alarm system), I tested them by charging with an external charger, and running a 12V car vacuum for half hour. These each showed no loss of power over the half hour test, whereas the batteries I am replacing delivered less power to start, and started to decline after about 10 minutes (not unexpected, they are from 2016).I've used these PowerSonic SLA batteries before -- I have a pair in a larger (dual-battery) UPS that I use to power my router and NAS in case of power outages -- they are about 3 years old and seem to be working fine (no fault light on UPS), and I did a 30-minute test on the UPS a few months ago (pulled the power plug to see if the devices would stay up for at least 30 mins). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great brand, brand new product, timely delivery, good protective packing, I expect long life *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2020* Power Sonic is one of the best gell cell brands out there. Price is very reasonable. I ordered this battery pair on April 7; received product with both units having a factory date code of March 14, so they are brand new with excellent timely delivery from factory to destination! Measured voltage was 12.4vdc and 12.6vdc respectively out of the box; measured charge current started at 145ma and 137ma respectively, dropping down within 6 hours each to 19ma and 21ma respectively. The box had extra thicknesses of heavy cardboard on all sides protecting the batteries. Batteries come with plastic connector protectors, 3 of which had come off in shipment and were loose in the box, but that was/is not a problem.
