Review: Essential cutter for roots in mains - K400 has a unique tip mount so you don't have to worry about screws backing out and losing your line cleaners. I used my pigtail to punch through the roots in peoples drain lines then run a sink slowly for some flow to push the roots out while I feed this down the 4" main slowly. Never been bound or kinked with this thing. It scrapes the inside of the pipe walls and shears roots off flush when inspected with a sewer scope after (I QC my own work). This is an essential cutter for any plumber. Most emergency calls in winter are from roots swelling and this clears them out so efficiently its almost unreal. Review: It works! my main drain isn't backed up - I snaked my main drain with the standard tips/cutters with no luck to find something that looked liked sheetrock. My plumbing friends said it was calcium and/or lime. Used this, and now my drain has been nice to me for 3 months now. A little pricey but still cheaper than a plumber πŸ˜‰. Note: I used this with a K-380, and only used this once so I cannot give a full review on build.
