Every part was well labeled in the manual. They even included two wrenches, so all I needed to add was my Phillips head screw driver. I was impressed by the quality of the hardware and the parts. This is well made. Once assembled it was very stable, and the operation was whisper quiet and smooth. It does come with a simple control panel to monitor time, heart rate, etc. I love that it is simple. Some machines you need a degree in computer science to figure out. Not this one – very easy to use. Plus, it needs no wires and no electricity. The control panel runs on 2-each AA batteries. A simple knob adjusts 16 levels of tension – the control panel is not needed for that. To top it off, it weighs 125 pounds, so it is easy to move via the front two wheels. I specifically wanted the 19” stride. I am 5’ 8” 170 pounds. Smaller strides (15” to 18”) are not as effective and are awkward to use unless your body is smaller than mine. This unit supports a person up to 400 pounds and 6’6” tall. If you need an adjustable incline, this does not adjust. You will need to spend about $500 more to get that feature made by some other manufacturer. I am more price conscious and can easily do without the incline. The base is 42” long x 20” wide.
