## Overview

Liquitex Professional Effects Medium is an 8-oz heavy body acrylic polymer gel designed to create dramatic textures in your artwork. With its unique rough cement appearance, it retains its texture when mixed with paint, making it an excellent choice for both acrylic and oil applications.

## Description

A thick, coarse gel that dries to a semi-gloss texture similar to rough cement. Mix with Black Lava and Ceramic Stucco to create an absorbent, granite like surface that is very receptive to Soft Body colors.

     This is a nice texture to create a sandy beach. I use it on wood panels for my resin art. The only negative is that it doesn’t last long and can get expensive. It may be cheaper to use a thick medium and a fine real sand.
