The cable follows the standard five conductor brown/white/blue/black/gray colour coding, as indicated on the included pinout label affixed to the cable. The 5-pin M12 connector appears to be a good quality and feels solid. The cable itself is shielded with both a foil and braid. Overall, I have no problems with the cable and think it's totally suitable for use at a test bench or in the field. For the price, I think the cable is a good value. Review: Super rugged cable, shielding runs throughout the molded connector and the coated foil in the cable jacket is strong and tear resistant. This feels nearly identical to the high dollar cabling it's replacing. The threaded barrel rotates freely and plated pins securely clamp on the opposing plug. Included diagram is a nice touch too. The shielding is very close to the surface of the molded connector, so abrasion may expose the braided shield as shown in pictures.
