In the picture it looks like it covers the loop buttons and selection knob etc** A: It’s a perfect case for the DDJ 1000... it goes all the way back ... u can remove it and put it back ... If it rains when transporting the controller into/out of a venue will it stay dry?** A: The cases are not rated for water resistance as the lid does not have any rubber gaskets etc. I shouldn't think the controller would get wet though if it is exposed briefly to a light shower. Looking at the measurements, it does not look like there is enough space underneath the laptop shelf to accommodate the extra height of the Decksaver.
