Best thing I can recommend is to visually check the module you currently have in your laptop and that you have a free slot (if you haven't eventually you'll need to open the back cover of the laptop). Or use task manager or hwinfo to find out how many slots and type of module you have, look for DDR4-2133, DDR4-2400... Should be DDR4 just as this one.
