If you have set the recorder and you want to keep on watching something, I have found that it gives you a warning to tell you a recording is about to start and if you ignore the warning it automatically starts to record so you don't really have to switch the machine off if you are watching something on freeview. Also if you want to tape a two hour and ten minute film, try using the flexi record function. The machine detacts how much time is left on the disc and adjusts itself automatically. I think the things he finds annoying very trivial personally and I still think it is a very good DVD recorder. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Clever but complicated *by I***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2006* This is a very clever machine with all these recording options but it takes a while to understand how to do things. I don't find the remote or the menus very intuitive and had to read the manual several times to find out how to do things.Panasonic's bumph convinced me that RAM disks were a great idea so I bought loads but then found out they don't work in other DVD players! Am I expecting too much?
