I usually have the typical problem that everyone else has and that's the water gets cold and the bottom of the tub usually hurts. I bought this hoping it would work and boy does it. I do have a bigger than normal tub but with this mat, I just put it where I want to lay and its perfect. The pad is quite comfortable to lay on and I never feel as though its burning or hurting me while on it. I do love the pillow that it came with as I mainly use this on my lower back for extra support and cushion. I'm able to soak for longer periods of time in my bath without the water becoming freezing cold. Even when I'm done, the water going down the drain is still nice and warm. When it comes to cleaning the mat, I just use a regular sponge and just hang it in my shower to dry.
