I don't think it would take much to defeat it with the right tools, ie bolt cutters but it's perfect to stop the opportunist thief. I've used it to secure my helmet to my motorbike, my push bike at cafe stops and flight bag in the airport. In all cases, I wasn't far away. I wouldn't think this lock being 3 digit combination would be any good if left for any length of time or were bolt cutter type thieves are at work, ie train stations and other popular bike parks.It was simple to change the combination but with only 3 digits it's not very secure, given enough time. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A handy lock, very light in weight, but ... *by M***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 July 2018* A handy lock, very light in weight, but only suitable for situations in which security risks are low, or the item protected is replaceable and relatively low in value. Disadvantages: the numbers of the combination lock are almost too small to read, and there are only three whereas most combination locks have a four-digit code; the instructions are printed in small type and they provide minimal information about how to set the code number.
