The material on the mitt and the back applicator are so soft and easy to use, and as long as you are using soft circular motions when applying the tanning solution, you’re not going to get any hard lines or blotchiness. I’m especially fond of the brush applicator, which I use on my knees, hands feet and face. It’s a great way to get just enough color where you need it without depositing so much that you get orange and splotchy. The included exfoliating glove was very thoughtful, but I recommend you use it carefully and with forethought. We obviously want our skin to be smooth, but when you exfoliate your skin also craves moisture, which means it could absorb more product than you thought it would, especially around the dryer areas of your body, like your elbows and knees and ankles.
