This unit does a great job and it's easy to use. Simply grind your beans to a rough grind (be careful not to go too fine or they will bleed through the metal filter), fill the filter container up as directed, add your water, and wait 24 hours for great cold brewed coffee.You'll want to be sure to clean your filter immediately after you remove it from the carafe or it will be a challenge to remove the coffee. Also be careful not to puncture the metal filter if you use a butter knife or metal utensil to get the coffee grounds loose in the filter. I could see easily poking through the filter if you use something sharp or push too hard.Overall, this is a great unit, easy to use, and not too bad to clean. The coffee lasts up to two weeks (although does anyone really leave it that long before they drink it?) in the fridge. Lastly, cold brewed coffee is less acidic than hot brewed, and it seems to be a little smoother. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cold brew tastes better and is 95% less acidic *by G***E on May 15, 2023* I use this every day and bought one for my mom. It’s best with course ground, but I just let the fine ground settle to the bottom and dump in my compost. This brews easy batches in one hour. I LOVE the clean look of the glass and stainless over other products with plastic lids. And I LOVE the coozy that comes with it for easy travel without worries of breaking it. I also found if you beat it up after brewing by it still tastes bolder and smoother than regular hot brews. BUY IT!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but could be better *by M***. on June 18, 2020* It's good, but has a few flaws. The pros are, it's easy to use and the flavor is pretty decent if you let it soak for a solid 12-18 hours. The negatives are that the rubber/plastic seal doesnt work perfectly and will leak. The deal also has a nasty habit of coming undone which has led to me almost losing it a few times. The other negative is the mouthfeel of cold brew coffee towards the bottom of the bottle which leaves a gritty feeling in your mouth no matter how course my beans are ground (I've even tried sifting the grinds beforehand).
