This bag seems well made and sturdy, although folded up it is very bulky and heavy. Since I was planning on packing it as an extra bag for the inevitable souvenirs purchased on my travels, it won't work for my purposes. I chose a competitor's bag that was half the weight and bulk. Very nice. Good quality. Pack it folded up, then fill it for your return trip. Use it as your personal item when flying. Good colors, men can carry it without it looking like a purse. We got the army green and it is nicer than army green!
