**Q: can you just buy the bayou poultry frying rack**
A: THhis item, the Bayou Classic 0835 Complete Poultry Frying Rack Set is what you would buy if you dont need the burner unit or pots. The set was well worth the $15 I paid for it. You get the rack which is better than the ones with the star shape on the bottom (your meat doesn't stick) or the one with the hook on the end (your meat won't get caught and tear when you pull it off). It also has an extra thermometer and injector, which we always seem to misplace or break.

**Q: I have a 30qt pot and misplaced the poutlry rack. Will this fit a 30qt pot? Guessing the pot does not have to be a Bayou**
A: yes, that is what i have.

**Q: Fry a whole chicken in as little as 45 minutes! Fry 3 chickens in 20 minutes! Is this correct the more you put in the faster it cooks?**
A: Never fried anything but a turkey.  Aound 18 to 19 lbs about an hour.

**Q: can i use this for smoking a turkey in a vertical smoker**
A: I don't see why not. As long as you have "S" hooks to attach it to the bars on the top of your smoker, you should be fine. This would work great for a vertical barrel smoker
