I know how beneficial the fruit Amla is to the hair. However ,I am a bit sceptical about commercial amla oils so decided to enrich these. I warmed up the bottles and added dried Amla to the oil&will drain the oil from the Amla after a few weeks. Another way to make Amla oil at home is to heat oils up and cook Amla pieces in it for a few minutes, making sure the oil is not overboiling. I prefer the oil infusion method ,without any cooking. Amla is a very versatile fruit and the dried pieces can be soaked in warm water and the pulp used in smoothies or face preparations as well.
