Not only is it British made and not some cheaply made product from China, which lacks in quality, it is a fine piece of engineering. The tent is easy to set up and can be set up with just one person in under 5 minutes. Pegging included! The tent is very waterproof unlike some cheap copies from china. It can take abit of a beating from winds, if pegged right and i would advise getting better stronger pegs. The pegs are o.k but if like me you like to camp in the wild a stronger peg helps with getting them.in the rocky, rooty ground... i would not take this tent out in stronger winds abouve 20mph, abouve this wind speed i would find some shelter, like a hedge. There is plenty of space in the gobi 3, even if you are 6ft! The gobi 3 has great ventilation for them warm summer nights. It features a net, inside the tent, at the top, where you can place a phone or tablet to watch films at night. Although i dont think it was made for this, we thought we would try it and it worked for us! There are plenty of pockets inside for lots of things. We mainly use this as a 2 man tent, with big rucksacks, and we keep our rucksacks inside with plenty room to sleep. We have used it as a 3 man also and there is plenty movement area for 3 people. The gobi 3 has the best pack away bag, you can dismantle the tent easy and the big pack away bag makes it easy to get in without the fuss. I would recommend this tent to anyone, as we have done. I've read of taller people having to sleep diagonally in the cub. Even though my 2 metre mat squeezes in, the edges taper a little so your head won't fit right into the crack of the tent. My head ends up pretty close to the edge and my toes are pressed against the inner tent. I find the tent has some niggles that I wish were fixed, but it's a very convenient tent for a motorcycle... Especially if you tour around from place to place each day like i do. I used to dread packing up the tent every day! What's not to like about my Gobi 3 tent ! Top value for money, but not at the cost of quality. It's SO quick and easy to put up. Its very sturdy and very waterproof! (friends tents have not fared so well even though they were more expensive!). It's stood up to some hellish stormy weather and shrugged it off every time. Packing away is also very easy, once you get your technique right, and the bag provided does an excellent job of compressing it down to a very manageable size. Do not be taken in by more expensive brands.
