The booklet was 13 pages of 11x17 with a cardstock cover and to be held with 2 staples, top and bottom. I tried it with the staples that came with it as soon as I opened the pkg. It works perfectly. Love the swivel head. Pages were already folded so it made lining them up to staple really easy. I will use a piece of tape on the base to denote where to place the top and bottom of the booklet so the position of the staple remains the same depth for uniformity.
