As one who often wears 100% cotton, I have never thought 100% cotton as "silky". There are many other similar shirts available on Amazon, with the reduced top to 2nd button distance, which reference the fabric as cotton/poly blends. The fabric is also light weight, not in keeping what I typically think of as 100% cotton Oxford.
